The Session is coming home !!

2 years after its inception and after more than a hundred evenings full of music, craic and a lot of memories, The Session is coming home to Dublin this September.

We've found a new home in The Cobblestone, one of the capital's most beloved pubs, that sits right at the centre of the buzzing Smithfield district and at the heart of the Irish music scene. Welcoming Dubliners and international crowds alike since 1983, the Cobblestone describes itself as a 'Drinking Pub with a Music Problem' and many a patron will be familiar of walking through its front doors to the sound of a trad session in the snug at the front of the pub. We'll be making our home in the newly renovated backroom space, with The Session Dublin launching on the 24th of September.

Doors will open at 7pm and the event will kick off at 8pm. The Session stage is open to all - no matter where you're from or what genre you play. Our goal is to build a creative community, allowing local and international musicians to play together, to listen and discover new music and to have a bit of craic at the same time. Anyone who arrives on time and gets their name on the list can play, while artists who are interested in doing a full opening set of 40 minutes can apply to play here
